Can toughened glass be used in swimming pool areas?
We recommended that Pilkington Toughened Glass should not be specified as single glazing or the inner pane of an insulating glass unit (IGU) when in a swimming pool environment where, in the event of fracture, broken glass fragments are able to get into the pool pump and cause major damage.
